Wyoming Paranormal was founded with a conviction that most paranormal investigation teams are missing the bigger picture. The unexplained doesn’t stop at hauntings — it spans UFO sightings over remote missile installations, unidentified creatures in the Bighorn wilderness, and phenomena that defy any single category.
JJ Steelman started Wyoming Paranormal in Cheyenne to build something different: a full-spectrum investigation team that takes every report seriously, regardless of what form the unexplained takes. Not just ghost hunters — investigators of everything that shouldn’t be happening but is.
The approach is rooted in evidence. Every investigation follows a structured methodology with proper documentation, equipment deployment, and rigorous analysis. But evidence-based doesn’t mean dismissive — it means treating every report with the seriousness it deserves while maintaining the critical eye needed to separate signal from noise.

Our investigations are completely free. Wyoming Paranormal is a volunteer investigation team because we believe everyone deserves answers, regardless of their ability to pay. This isn’t a business — it’s a mission.

Wyoming Paranormal is actively looking for like-minded investigators to join our team. Wyoming is a big state with a lot of unexplained activity, and we need people who share our commitment to evidence-based, respectful investigation.
We’re looking for people who bring curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to spend long nights in the field. Experience with paranormal investigation is welcome but not required — we value the right mindset over a resume.
